This website uses a technical cookie, necessary to remember your choice about cookies, and, only if you consent, third-party cookies to analyse its use in order to improve it. No cookies are used for advertising purposes or to build profiles from your browsing habits. The analytics cookies are set by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), as the provider of Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager; its terms and privacy information are available at policies.google.com. The cookie notice and preferences panel are provided by Usercentrics A/S (Cookiebot), based in Denmark, as data processor.

Consent to the use of cookies

When you first access this website, a cookie notice is displayed that lets you decide freely on their use, with the same ease for accepting as for rejecting: you can accept them all, reject them all or configure your choice by category in the preferences panel. Rejecting cookies is as easy as accepting them.

No cookies other than technical or strictly necessary ones are installed until you give your consent. No pre-ticked boxes in favour of acceptance are used: if you save your choice without ticking any category, it is equivalent to rejecting all non-necessary cookies. Access to the website and its content is not conditional on accepting cookies.

Continuing to browse, scrolling the page or closing the notice without choosing are not, under any circumstances, valid ways of giving consent.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

You will be asked for consent again 12 months after you gave or last renewed it, and also if the cookies used or their purposes change substantially.

Your choice and the date you made it are stored in a technical cookie (CookieConsent) in your browser. In addition, Cookiebot keeps a record of your consent (a random identifier, the date, the options chosen and your anonymised IP address) so that it can be proven, as required by the GDPR. Your choice applies only to the browser and device from which you make it, and to the ewala.es domain.

You can find more information about who we are, how to contact us and how we process your personal data in our Privacy Policy, accessible from the footer.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded to your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit certain web pages. It allows the site to store and retrieve information about your visit: for example, remembering a preference you have chosen or counting how many people have read a page.

Besides cookies, there are other technologies with the same function (browser local storage, tracking pixels or device identifiers) and also fingerprinting techniques, which combine information to identify the device without needing to store anything on it. When this policy says "cookies", it refers to all of them.

Information obtained through cookies may constitute personal data when it allows you to be identified directly or indirectly; in that case, its processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.

What types of cookies are there?

Cookies are classified in three different ways, and each cookie belongs to one category in each group.

By who manages them

First-party
Sent from equipment managed by the website owner.
Third-party
Sent from equipment managed by another entity, which is the one that processes the data obtained.

By how long they last

Session
Deleted when you close the browser.
Persistent
Remain on the device for the period indicated in the table, unless you delete them earlier.

By what they are for

Technical or necessary
Allow browsing and the operation of the site, or save the choice you have made about other cookies. They are exempt from consent under article 22.2 LSSICE, because without them the service you requested cannot be provided.
Analytics or measurement
Allow visits to be counted and how the site is used to be understood in aggregate, in order to improve content. They require your prior consent.
Behavioural advertising
Allow browsing habits to be profiled in order to show personalised ads. This website does not use them.

Cookies used on this website

The following table lists all the cookies and similar technologies that may be installed on your device, with their owner, purpose, duration and category. Analytics cookies are not installed until you accept them. Technical storage is installed without the need for consent, under the exception in article 22.2 LSSICE, as it is essential to remember your choice.

If a tool that installs new cookies is added in the future, this table will be updated before it is activated.

International data transfers

The processing of data obtained through cookies is generally carried out in the European Economic Area or in countries for which the European Commission has declared an adequate level of protection.

The provider of the analytics cookies is Google Ireland Limited, based in the European Union. The data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States, an entity certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, declared adequate by the European Commission through Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 of July 10, 2023. As a complementary safeguard, the Standard Contractual Clauses signed with Google apply. Usercentrics A/S (Cookiebot) processes consent records on servers located in the European Union.

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store the IP address: it uses it to infer an approximate location and then discards it.

How can the use of cookies be managed on this website?

In the cookie preferences panel, accessible at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, you can view all information about the cookies used (including their purpose, duration and whether they are first-party or third-party) and enable or disable those that are not strictly necessary for the site to work.

When you disable a cookie, it is removed from your browser whenever possible and, if it cannot be removed, it is blocked: a cookie you have rejected is never used. Some removal mechanisms depend on the third party responsible for the cookie and are outside our control.

Alternatively, you can block or delete cookies from your own browser settings, including third-party cookies you previously accepted. Note that this affects all websites you visit, not just this one:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.

On mobile, the path is within the browser’s own settings, not the system settings.

This option can be exercised at any time. The panel and browser settings are specific to each device: if you want your choice to apply on another one, you will need to configure it there too.

What happens if cookies are disabled?

Nothing that affects your visit. The site works the same, all pages remain accessible and the contact form is sent normally. The only effect is that your visit is not counted in our statistics.

If you block all storage from your browser, including technical storage, we may not be able to remember your choice and the notice may appear again on every visit. Under no circumstances does rejecting non-necessary cookies prevent access to the website or its essential content and services.

User rights

To the extent that information obtained through cookies constitutes personal data, you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as withdraw the consent given at any time, by writing to rgpd@ewala.es, under the terms set out in our Privacy Policy.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, Spain — www.aepd.es), especially if you have not obtained a satisfactory response when exercising your rights.

Updating the Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated when the cookies used, applicable regulations or the criteria of supervisory authorities change. We recommend reviewing it periodically; the applicable version is always the one published on this page.

When significant changes occur in the cookies installed or their purposes, we will notify you through the website and you will be asked for consent again. If you have any questions, you can write to rgpd@ewala.es.
